In The Empire Strikes Back, Captain Nedir, captain of the super star destroyer realizing that they have lost the Millenium Falcon in the astroid field, he informs the bridge that he will go to Vader and apologize personally. The movie then cuts to a different scene. When it returns back to that line, you see Nedir dying from Vader force strangulation. After Nedir’s dead, Vader says, “apology accepted”.
Something like that
