Hahaha, I love these commercials. And to people that think their “pointless”: The point of the commercials is not to sell a product, its to “break the ice” as Microsoft attempts to connect to the average person, and clean up their image.

Both of those ads were damn pointless, but I love ‘em anyway. I like the parts where everyone is all uncomfortable.

Wow thats way too much you’ve brought into that statement, geeze get a life will you…? Some people are born actors others aren’t, simple as that.

And don’t block me because I’m not like you and going to lose it over a small sentence like you did

If MS can afford to waste money on ‘ads’ like this, I’m happy to keep pirating Microsoft products, as they obviously don’t need my cash.

you know, with Vista tanking they decided to put out commercials like this… which really seem pointless (much like Seinfeld, the show about nothing) …What I find really amazing is how Mr. Gates really has almost no personality.

They could make a full 22min-30min show just with Seinfeld and Gates for some reason bunking up with seemingly random people.

    I’d watch that…
    Because it’d be Seinfeld mostly…
And it’d be the biggest thing he’s done since Seinfeld ended…

Scratch that, just put Jerry in a story line for next season of Curb Your Enthusiasm,
it could be about the struggles and perils of following-up Seinfeld with a brand new show by Larry David/Jerry Seinfeld…

It’d be like the Beatles reforming!

yea that’s true… he could easily go back in Seinfeld episodes if he wanted to without it looking weird
